Whenever I trigger what appears to be a cutscene in the Iron Outpost boss room, the game crashes to desktop.
Since the 10/12 patch, it gets a little further, but still crashes. After the patch, I saw the first subtitle line, but screen turns black and instantly crash.
The opening video works fine, so I’m not sure why this one would be any different.
Anyone know what is going on?
Sorry to hear that! I’m not sure exactly what that is, we have had a couple of other reports of it and haven’t tracked it down yet.
When it crashes, does the game point you to some crash dump files? Also, could you send PM me your game log file after the crash?
Should be in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Battle Chasers Nightwar\BC_Data\output_log.txt
If you want to continue playing the game and just skip the video until we sort it out, there’s a config file you can use to turn off videos completely:
