Cannot open menus in sewers

I was doing the second sewer mission and found myself unable to open either the character menu or the save menu. I’m using an xbox one controller, and both buttons that usually open those menus instead did nothing.

Am I not supposed to be able to open those, or is this a bug? I can open them in every other dungeon/exploration area.

This occurred with me as well, the sewer dungeon with the slimes. I was using a PS4 controller, I didn’t try keyboard input to open menus. When I died from the slime boss, re-entering I was able to open the menus. So, I think it’s a bug.

This bug was noted here. Should be corrected for the next version.
