Any way to change main character on overworld map?

Ive noticed whenever i start the game the main character i control on the overworld map is calibretto (or whoever is in the first spot)

Is there a way to swap controlled characters on the overworld like in the dungeon? In dungeon we just hit l1/r1 on ps4, but seems like im stuck running around as a set character on the overworld until i get to a dungeon and switch to my main before exiting.

I agree! I don’t see why there can’t be exact same feature as in Dungeons.
At least they should make that the first character on the Overworld is always the same. But you can change it in Dungeons and come back on Overworld.
